He held hands with his bride, hidden from her view by the corner of the rose-colored brick of Lindsay Lakes, the perfect setting for a Cypress TX wedding. He prayed over their wedding day aloud with her, asking for God to be present in this most joyous day of their life (thus far). She smiled softly hearing his words, feeling the gentle and constant rub of his thumb on her engagement ring. This was moments from forever.
And though I’m sure his thoughts on this day were many, there was one question nagging at him since that moment that the prayed over himself and his bride. After taking a photo with his older sister, the groom leaned in and whispered to her, “Is she beautiful?”
His sister leaned in and with a voice just above a whisper and a smile on her face, she replied, “Yes, Taylor, she’s looks so beautiful.”
The anticipation built steadily over the next few hours until the large wooden doors were open with abandon, and his bride, Shannon, locked eyes with her groom and sauntered down the aisle on her father’s arm, the sun beaming brilliantly behind her.
And Taylor’s tear-filled eyes were evidence to his thoughts: His bride was so beautiful.
Shannon and Taylor, this is the beginning. The start of a big, wonderful, challenging, rewarding, grace-filled, story, and you guys are the authors. I have little doubt that with the support of your family, the loyalty of your friends, and your faith will empower you to write something beautiful.
