Joy. Looking back through the images from this wedding, “joy” is the one adjective that repeatedly and poignantly described Lauren and Hugh’s wedding. It was spread on their faces, it was expressed in their dancing, it was felt by all.
Lauren and Hugh opted to do a “First Look”! The rain kept us from having the First Look in the courtyard, but that didn’t stop Lauren and Hugh from beaming as Lauren tapped Hugh on the shoulder to see his lovely bride! Their smiles tell it all!
Their wedding ceremony was sweet and heartfelt. Lauren and Hugh served communion to all of the guests at the end of the ceremony, demonstrating their commitment to Christ first and to love His people.
And then they danced, and everyone along with them!! It’s amazing to witness the genuine excitement shared by all when a truly wonderful couple gets married! J-O-Y!!
