During my late nights of breast feeding little Maxine, I have discovered a new (dangerous) hobby: online shopping. I have never been one to online shop – my guilt complex would kick in as soon as I hit “Put In Cart” and I would back out 99.9% of the time. But there’s just something about 2:00 a.m. (lack of sleep = lack of judgment, perhaps?) that pushes me to click through the various prompts all the way to “Purchase”. It was around 3:00 a.m. in early March during one of my late-night-baby-on-the-boob shopping sprees that I found the perfect little coral bathing suit for Maxine and it arrived in the mail a few weeks ago…! With south Texas becoming hella hot beginning around….. June 1st (who am I kidding – more like April 30th) Scott and I decided that since Nonnie was in town we should hit the beach in March! And so we did.
Open book here – Maxine cried during most of the little trip, hence all of the photos with her pacifier, ha! But, you know, she’s only a month old, the sun was bright, and her fair skin was exposed so I can’t really blame the girl! At least she looked crazy cute.
She could hitch-hike using those big toes, am I right?
And, of course, Pixel got to come along. This dog L.O.V.E.s water.
Sand and sun,
HK
