I first met Megan when she was serving as a bridesmaid in a wedding we photographed a couple of years ago. My second shooter (and spouse) snapped a photo of her during the bouquet toss at that wedding that has since been printed in one of our sample albums, going down in our wedding photography history as the BEST bouquet toss reactionary face caught on camera – mouth gaping, arms spread, look of excitement/absolute determination – EPIC. It was when we hosted Megan and Martin to talk about their wedding, perusing our sample album, that Megan came across this photo and she told me, after laughing in slight embarrassment, that she reacted that way as a joke – she had no intention of actually catching that bouquet. I always love a bride with a sense of humor, and it was then that I knew Megan and Martin’s wedding would be epic in its own way, filled with laughter and good humor throughout the day.
Megan and Martin, we can’t thank you enough for inviting us into your life to tell the story of your wedding day through imagery. We love what we do, but it is made all the better when we have the pleasure of spending a weekend with amazing people 🙂 We pray that you and Martin continue to laugh together, and may you put genuine excitement and absolute determination into your life and love together as the days come and go!
