I don’t know if The Freckled Key Photography just has dumb luck or what, but it pretty much always rains on a TFK wedding day! We embrace it, and honestly it has pushed my creativity and forced my eye to be ever on the lookout for that perfect piece of light indoors.
BUT! On Kaylyn and Rani’s wedding day not only did it not rain, but there wasn’t even a cloud to be seen!! And with there outdoor ceremony scheduled for an hour and a half before sunset, the Texas big sky was really showing off its colors both during the exchange of vows and for portraits after. Shades of creamsicle orange and soft lavender blended with the palest of blues, with Kaylyn’s smile taking over the brilliance of the swiftly setting sun.
Kaylyn and Rani, thank you for letting us step so intimately into your day. What a treasure to do what we love with such amazing people.
Longhorn and big sky,
