Houston Engagement Photographer

It was a perfectly sunny, mild December day. A rarity this “winter” as we have been hit with a lot of rain this season in Houston.

The sun was peeking through the trees on a familiar street, creating soft halos around each golden leaf.

And the snuggles? Oh, they were plentiful and precious!

No coaching necessary for these two; Kelsey and Colin were so comfortable with each other and in front of my camera.

Kelsey and Colin chose to start their engagement session at the gazebo on Heights Blvd., where Colin proposed to Kelsey a few months before. And can I just say how much I love it when my clients choose the spot for the engagement shoot?! It creates a familiar, usually sentimental environment for the session making my job of easing my clients into a photo shoot that much easier. I love it.

From there, they had an outfit change and we headed to a local park for more time relaxing and smiling.

Hello, gorgeous brown eyes! So much sparkle 🙂

Kelsey and Colin shared with me that they like to spend time in their hammocks, so we collaborated on the idea of using a hammock in their engagement session. Meaningful activities as well as meaningful locations make for not only meaningful photos, but photos that are unique to the couple 🙂

And I can never get enough of that!

Kelsey and Colin get married at the end of this month!! Woo woo! I can’t wait to celebrate with you guys and your families 🙂

Until then, keep smiling!
