I had a Canon Rebel T3i, a Canon 50mm f\/1.8 lens, and I had just learned how to shoot my camera in Manual mode. They were my guinea pigs before I leaped into this business head first, and I am so grateful to them for volunteering their time to my experiments (you can see the post <a href=\"http:\/\/thefreckledkeyphotography.blogspot.com\/2011\/12\/melissa-payton-engagement-082011.html\">*here*<\/a> &#8211; please don&#8217;t judge my photography at that point in time&#8230; I was still learning) \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-QOFw9zlDCbs\/UL1fH6wPYBI\/AAAAAAAAGnc\/TrtMn2ODNsU\/s1600\/2012-12-03_009.jpg\" data-lightbox=\"gal[22]\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-QOFw9zlDCbs\/UL1fH6wPYBI\/AAAAAAAAGnc\/TrtMn2ODNsU\/s1600\/2012-12-03_009.jpg\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Melissa and I have been dear friends for oh&#8230;. 7 years now! Holy cow. Has it really been 7 years since my Freshman year in college?? Yikes. She married her kind, understanding, and sweet husband, Payton, in December of 2010 and I have been just <i>itching<\/i>\u00a0to take some bridal portraits for Melissa ever since as she was unable to have portraits taken on her wedding day.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-KAsNgGE4Pso\/UL1fPPQ1fYI\/AAAAAAAAGnk\/jeg_LqPLWUY\/s1600\/2012-12-03_006.jpg\" data-lightbox=\"gal[22]\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-KAsNgGE4Pso\/UL1fPPQ1fYI\/AAAAAAAAGnk\/jeg_LqPLWUY\/s1600\/2012-12-03_006.jpg\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Well, two years later, she finally took me up on my offer \ud83d\ude42 Happy 2 year anniversary, you two. I love you both dearly, and I hope that these photographs serve as a reminder of your wedding day and the deep love that you share for each other.<\/p>\n<div>\n<a
