left;\">But, whatever the reason, it has taken me\u00a0a very\u00a0long time\u00a0to be okay with opening\u00a0up to others outside of my parents and my husband, to go out on a limb and give\u00a0them my deepest darkest and know that I would be loved anyway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thefreckledkeyphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/2016-01-29_0003.jpg\" data-lightbox=\"gal[3545]\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3549\"><img loading=\"lazy\" left;\">It took the kindness, persistence and loyalty of a college roommate turned lifelong friend, Melissa (not pictured), to start that process of learning to really trust others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thefreckledkeyphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/2016-01-29_0004.jpg\" data-lightbox=\"gal[3545]\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3550\"><img left;\">And because of that relationship I have since allowed myself to show my heart, little by little, embracing vulnerability one struggle at a time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a left;\">That being in community with others in an intimate, vulnerable way allows for healing.
