Well, hello again, Blog World! It’s been a while! Scott and I have been wonderfully busy through Houston’s wedding season and thus the blog posting went to the wayside for a bit. But, we’re back and bringing you some adorable babies! They are each so kissable and sweet!!
We will start with the precious Emma bug! You might recognize her and her sweet parents from these posts: Maternity, Newborn.
Stacy and Derek were one of the first couples with whom I attempted a behind-the-scenes, lifestyle approach to my photography and the results are the reason why this is the ONLY way I will approach family sessions from now on. They were so wonderful to allow me into a very special part of their daily life with Emma. Thanks, you two!
And now for sweet Jack! I had the pleasure of photographing Jack with his lively and fun family on the weekend that they celebrated his 1 year birthday! You may recognize his beautiful momma from this shoot – but don’t be confused! That is actually her TWIN sister – can’t you tell? Katie and Kelly had their first born sons within a few month of each other!
…and the handsome Luke! I have been photographing this family since the very beginning of my business, and watching these two boys grow up literally right in front of my lens has been such a delight! I can’t wait for Lane’s 2 year shoot!
Another girl! Miss Elsie was born in August to the older sister of this lovely bride, whose wedding we photographed last August! Time just flutters by in a blink.
Alice and Taylor welcomed baby boy Oliver within their first year of moving to Houston. He fits in just perfectly with their new home established in a new city, making this one happy new family. I absolutely loved Oliver’s nursery, so I just had to snap a few photos to add to my nursery inspiration boards for that some day in the future when we will be painting nursery walls…
Sydney was the first baby I photographed after returning from Africa!! Her momma was a co-worker of mine – you can see Sydney in momma’s tummy over here. Big brother, Ryan, was SO proud to have a baby sister!
And last, but certainly not least, is the adorable Meredith! Her parents wanted to meet me at Hermann Park and agreed to come bright and early so that we could catch the morning light! It definitely paid off!! The morning sun in the Fall is unbeatable.
It’s been a wonderful season for The Freckled Key Photography celebrating new life in our awesome city! Time for us to go outside and enjoy this weather…. now!
